(ANSA) - Verona, May 14 - Deputy Premier and League leader
Matteo Salvini said Tuesday that the government will break the
EU's 3% budget-to-GDP ratio if needed.
"If we have to break some limits, of the 3% (budget) or the
130-140% (on debt), we'll go ahead and do it," he said.
"Until unemployment is halved in Italy, until we get to 5%
unemployment, we will spend all that we have to spend."
"If some people in Brussels complain we'll put up with it.
"It is fundamental that the Italians give us a hand in
changing this Europe".
