(ANSA) - Rome, January 20 - Part of an apartment building
collapsed on Sunday night in Catania, entirely destroying an
apartment that its owner told police had been unoccupied for a
year.
Investigators on the scene said there were no victims and no
one was injured in the collapse.
As a precaution, however, firefighters evacuated seven
families and are using search dogs to locate anyone who may be
trapped under the rubble.
