(ANSA) - Rome, April 3 - Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte has
written to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen
calling on the EU to be bolder as it faces up to the coronavirus
emergency.
"European solidarity has not been felt and there is no more
time to waste," read the letter, published by Rome-based daily
La Repubblica, in which Conte repeats his call for the Union to
issue 'European recovery bonds'.
"It is time to show more ambition, more unity and more
courage".
