(ANSA) - Rome, June 8 - Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio on
Monday signed a 'pact for exports' designed to boost exports in
phase three of the coronavirus emergency.
The document contains responses to category associations' and
businesses' demands to bolster their "projection abroad", he
said.
Di Maio said "we have come through the darkest period of this
health crisis: now the country can restart, with caution but
with courage.
"And, finally, the engine of Made in Italy, a strategic asset
for the excellence of the Italian economy and Italian
businesses, can start running again".
Di Maio said "figures like Temporary Export Managers and
Digital Managers have now become indispensable to boost Italian
firms' access to overseas markets".
He said "there will be a single public access portal for
export services, which will enable a personalised use for
priority sectors and markets".
