(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 15 - An anti-vax Laxio regional councillor and an anti-vax MP barricaded themselves inside the offices of the Lazio regional council Thursday night in a protest at the Green Pass COVID pass becoming mandatory in Italian workplaces Friday.
"We entered last night and we spent the night here, we're continuing the occupation, join us at the Lazio regional council sit-in, happy resistance to all!!", they said on Facebook.
The councillor, Davide Barillari, and MP Sara Cunial, a former member of the populist 5-Star Movement (M5S), added that "we are defending the right to work.
"Resist, resist, resist," they said.
They held up a placard saying Resist To Exist. (ANSA).
