(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 30 - The conservative Brothers of Italy
(FdI) party was slightly up to 24.8% in a new poll out Tuesday
while the centre-left Democratic Party (PD) was a tad down at
22.
FdI's main ally, the rightwing League party, was steady on 12.5%
in the Radar SWG poll.
The left-leaning 5-Star Movement (M5S) was fourth on 11.6%.
The centre right coaltion's third party, three-time ex-premier
and media mogul Silvio Berlusconi's Forza Italia (FI) party, was
steady on 7%.
The 'third pole' of Azione and Italia Viva (IV) was next on
6.8%, and the PD's allies in Italian Left (SI) and Green Europe
(EV) were behind them on 4%.
Italexit was on 3.4%.
The centre right is curremtly projected to win a clear majority
in both houses of parliament and FdI leader Giorgia Meloni to
become Italy's first woman premier after the September 25
general election.
