(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 22 - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told Italian Defence Minister Lorenzo Guerini in Kyiv Thursday that "we feel Italy's constant support for our sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the fight for our existence, from Premier Mario Draghi. the Italian government and people".
    Speaking of a "significant meeting" with Guerini on Instagram, Zelesnky added that "I thank minister Guerini, the vital priority for our country is today the reinforcement of our armed forces".
    Italy is among the many Western nations supplying Kyiv with military aid to fend off the Russian invasion of their country.
    The Instagram post also said "for Italy, despite the many domestic issues, the situation in Ukraine remains very important". (ANSA).
