(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 29 - Outgoing Premier Mario Draghi told
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the telephone on
Thursday that Italy will not recognize the results of the
"illegal" referenda on joining the Russian Federation held in
Ukrainian territories occupied by Russia, the premier's office
said in a statement.
Draghi also "confirmed the continued support of the Italian
government to the Ukrainian authorities and people in all
spheres," the statement said.
