(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 28 - Those who produce must not be
disturbed, Premier Giorgia Meloni told Veneto industrialists
Monday, reiterating a vow she made in her inaugural speech to
parliament last month.
"The measures (in the 2023 budget) will lose all effectiveness
if we do not succeed in guaranteeing businesses a context
different from the one found so far in the relationship with the
state and the government," she told Confindustria Veneto East.
"Since I took office I have stressed two fundamental principles:
do not disturb those who produce, and relations with unions and
employers must be put back at the centre of the debate".
She stressed the budget's "attention to companies and workers".
