(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 13 - Premier Giorgia Meloni on Tuesday
blasted Tehran's brutal repression of demonstrations and the
execution of some protestors.
"The use of force against peaceful demonstrators, against women,
is unjustifiable and, above all, unacceptable," Meloni said as
she reported to the Lower House before this week's European
Council.
She said her government was in favour of inserting a
condemnation of the executions in Iran into the conclusions of
the European Council summit.
