Valditara shows himself up says Sala

(see related) (ANSA) - ROME, MAY 10 - Education Minister Giuseppe Valditara has shown himself up for what he really is in stating that a student rent crisis is the fault of centre-left councils, centre-left Democratic Party (PD) Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala said Wednesday.
    Valditara said centre-left led councils had failed to enact policies to help young people get affordable accommodation.
    Sala replied: "There are two possibilities here, either Valditara's remark was a joke, which came out badly, or it's the result of some thought. If it's the fruit of deep reflection, I think that Minister Valditara has illuminated the Country on what he is with this statement.
    "If it's a joke, I reply with a jokey remark too: maybe its the way it is because students are more inclined to stay in centre-left cities because they welcome their complexities and their problems". (ANSA).
