(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 30 - Foreign Minister and Deputy Premier
Antonio Tajani on Friday called on Poland and Hungary to be
"more reasonable" after they blocked the approval of the
European Council's conclusions on migration.
"At this stage we need European solidarity on the immigration
issue," said Forza Italia coordinator Tajani on the sidelines of
Fenix national youth festival.
"I hope that Hungary and Poland will be more reasonable.
"Forza Italia has many misgivings about the unanimous voting
system in the European Council," he added.
"These obstacles would be overcome with majority voting.
"But I hope that politics prevails and we can find a solution
that will allow us to have a united Europe". (ANSA).
