(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 5 - Deputy Premier and Transport Minister
Matteo Salvini said Tuesday he was ready to report on last
week's rail disaster at Brandizzo near Turin in which five track
maintenance workers lost their lives.
Infrastructures and Transport Minister Salvini is ready to
report to Parliament on the Brandizzo railway tragedy, said the
Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport.
It said in a statement that '"in light of the 4,000 ANAS rail
and road construction sites currently open throughout Italy and
in view of the many new works planned, Salvini reiterates:
'There must be maximum attention on safety'".' (ANSA).
