(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 2 - An asylum seeker detention centre near
Ragusa in Sicily was empty Monday after a Catania judge's ruling
Sunday that the government's recent migrant decree was
illegitimate because it clashes with EU norms.
Under the effects of the ruling, the Ragusa police chief's
detention measure for three migrants was declared illegitimate.
There are now no migrants in the centre, local sources said.
The facility at Pozzallo was opened seven days ago. (ANSA).
