(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 29 - The question time session Premier
Giorgia Meloni had been due to hold in the Lower House on
December 13 has been postponed.
On Wednesday Minister for Relations with Parliament Luca Ciriani
told a meeting of party whips that Meloni would not be able to
take questions on that date because "she has to report to the
House in view of the European Council" meeting in Brussels on
December 14 and 15.
"She keeps running away from parliament," commented Green Left
Alliance MP Marco Grimaldi.
"We note that she keeps putting it off," observed centre-left
opposition Democratic Party (PD) whip Sonia Braga.
The opposition claimed it is the first time a premier has not
reported to the Lower House for a year.
