Armed forces balance of our Republic says Mattarella

(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 27 - The Italian armed forces guarantee the balance of the republic, President Sergio Mattarella told the sailors of the frigate Bergamini in the port of Limassol in southern Cyprus on an official visit to the island on Tuesday.
    "The armed forces guarantee the freedom of the Republic and its citizens and in this way ensure their security and defence: and this is of extraordinary importance in the balance of our Republic and our democracy," he said. (ANSA).
