(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 4 - The government has managed to get
illegal migrant arrivals down by 60% this year with respect to
the same period last year, Premier Giorgia Meloni told the
cabinet Tuesday.
"The whole government's commitment has enabled us to get illegal
arrivals down 60% compared to the same period last year," she
said, according to those present.
She said this result had been made "possible above all thanks to
collaboration relations with North African countries, led by
Tunisia and Libya". (ANSA).
