Great win, beyond expectations says Leccese in Bari

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 24 - The centre left's Vito Leccese said it had been a "great win, beyond expectations" after beating the centre right's Fabio Romito to become Bari's new mayor, retaining the Puglia capital for the 'broad field' centre left alliance Monday.
    Leccese said "thank you Bari, it is a great victory, beyond all expectations".
    He said "we are only at the beginning because the hard work will start only from the proclamation.
    "It is an extraordinary result, which goes far beyond my expectations". (ANSA).
