(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 6 - Children's vaccines should not be
compulsory but only recommended, the rightwing League party says
in an amendment to the government's bill to cut hospital waiting
lists in the Senate.
Centre-right We Moderates (NM) leader Maurizio Lupi, a small
ally of the League in Italy's rightwing government, called the
call "nonsense".
League leader Matteo Salvini was sometimes accused of seeking
the support of the anti-vax lobby during the COVID epidemic.
