(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 10 - Italy's antisemitism watchdog said
Wednesday the cases of antisemitism in the country had
quadrupled since the October 7 Hamas attacks on Israel compared
to the same previous period.
General Pasquale Angelosanto said that from October 7 to June 30
there had been some 406 cases of antisemitism, up from 98.
He added that increasingly the attacks were "direct and
personal" rather than being predominantly on the Web, as before.
