Minister Matteo Salvini on Saturday blasted the opening ceremony
of the 2024 Paris Olympics after it featured a recreation of the
Last Supper with drag queens.
"Opening the Olympics by insulting millions of Christians around
the world was a truly terrible start, dear French people,"
Salvini, the leader of the right-wing League party, said via
social media.
