(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 11 - Italy is set to send aid and
materials to help Ukraine cope with its electrical power
emergency amid a massive Russian missile barrage, sources said
after a meeting of the Ukraine Electrical Emergency working
group set up by Premier Girogia Meloni at the start of last
month.
Wednesday's meeting drew up a list of available materials and
equipment, they said.
Italy's major electrical power sector operators were consulted,
and the logistical support needed for an imminent dispatch of
the material was analyzed.
Sources said the effort will have a great impact and will
guarantee power supplies for a community of around three million
