(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 6 - A new electronic nose devised by an
Italian researcher is able to sniff out the origins and
freshness of wines, Brescia's Cattolica University said Tuesday.
Brescian physicist Sonia Freddi built the nose in the
university's physics department recently.
The device detects molecular biomarkers and "paves the way for
new methods of quality control," the university said. (ANSA).
