(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 20 - Doctors at Rome's Bambino Gesù
Paediatric Hospital said Monday that they had removed a huge
kidney tumour weighing 1.5 kilograms from an eight-year-old girl
during a complex, nine-hour operation.
The tumour was so big that it stretched up as far as the girl's
heart and the surgery required her having a temporary cardiac
arrest. (ANSA).
