(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 25 - Italy suffers 10% of global cyber
attacks annually, the Italian ICT security association CLUSIT
said Tuesday.
In 2024, it said, 3,541 cyber incidents were detected worldwide,
with a growth of 27.
Italy remains a target, suffering 10% of global attacks, and
news and multimedia are the most affected category (18% of the
total).
A quarter of incidents in the manufacturing sector worldwide
were against Italian companies, as well as a quarter of global
attacks on the global transport and logistics sector.
Over a third of incidents in Italy were caused by malware.
