Shaquille O'Neal rendered in Lego in Milan

(ANSA) - Rome, April 11 - Lego fanatics outside Milan have constructed a life-size sculpture of Shaquille O'Neal to celebrate the town of Assago's title as a European Capital of Sport 2014. Made from 80 kilos of Lego blocks, the uniformed statue stands over two meters high and shows the NBA big man clutching a real basketball that is dwarfed in his massive hands. The sculpture was also unveiled to mark the start of Mattoncinando...in cascina!, a two-day Lego festival there starting Saturday, sponsored by ItLUG (Italian LEGO© User Group).
