(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 8 - Genoa have said that they have
appointed Andriy Shevchenko their new coach after the former AC
Milan forward signed a contract running until June 2024.
Italy's oldest soccer club sacked Davide Ballardini at the
weekend after Friday's 2-2 draw at Empoli, which leaves them on
the edge of the relegation zone in 17th place with nine points
from 12 games.
Genoa's American owners, 777 Partners, have given the former
Ukraine boss and 2004 Ballon d'Or winner his first job in club
