(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 2 - Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen is
back training in Denmark 173 days after the cardiac arrest he
suffered at Denmark-Finland at Euro 2020, his first club Odense
said Thursday.
Eriksen was fitted with a defibrillator of the kind Dutch
international and Ajax defender Daley Blind now plays with after
his cardiac arrest but the former Spurs midfielder is facing
more stringent Italian rules on chest impacts which make it less
likely he will be allowed to play in Serie A again.
Odense, where the 29-year-old started out, said: "Erijksen
contacted us and is training on his own.
"It's natural for him since he played her as a young man and
only lives around the corner". (ANSA).
