(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 30 - Italian pop singers on Friday
remembered Pelé, the giant of Brazilian and world soccer who
died of cancer aged 82 on Thursday.
Loredana Berté said on Facebook she would "always remember with
affection when you used to come and fetch me in New York to go
to English lessons together", posting a photo of them together.
Evergreen crooner Gianni Morandi also posted snap of him with
The King on Facebook and said how lucky he had been to meet him,
while ageless rocker Vasco Rossi posted a message saying
"success never comes by chance" and former teen sensation Rita
Pavone posted a photo of the pair hugging in the 60s, saying
"meeting him was a huge joy". (ANSA).
