(ANSA) - ROME, APR 15 - Italy's Alice D'Amato won the gold medal on the uneven bars at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Antalya, Turkey on Saturday. It is the third medal for the Italian athlete - after team silver and bronze in the All Around, which she dedicated yesterday to the volleyball player Julia Ituma who died in Istanbul - and won shortly after her sister Asia's second place on vault.
For Italy it is the fifth podium in this edition of the continental event.
The silver medal was won by Britain's Rebecca Downie, the bronze by Germany's Elisabeth Seitz. (ANSA).
