(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 22 - Frosinone keeper Stefano Turati was
banned for one game Tuesday for committing blasphemy in
Saturday's 3-1 home loss to reigning Serie A champs Napoli.
Serie A sporting judge Gerardo Mastrandrea said Milan-born
Turati, 21, had been clearly heard on TV uttering a blasphemous
phrase in the 15th minute of the game, the debut for the newly
promoted southern Lazio team.
Legendary former Juve goalie Gianluigi Buffon got a similar ban
in March 2021. (ANSA).
