(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 22 - Inter Milan went top of Serie A, at
least temporarily, with a 3-0 win at Torino Saturday night that
puts them on 22 points, one ahead of city rivals AC Milan who
face third-placed Juventus at the San Siro Sunday night.
The Nerazzurri's goals came from Marcus Thuram, Lautaro Martinez
and Hakan Çalhanoğlu.
In the other matches Saturday, Lazio won 2-0 at Sassuolo with
goals from Felipe Anderson and Luis Alberto while Napoli won 3-1
at Verona with Matteo Politano and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (twice)
finding the net.
The win temporarily raised Napoli into joint fourth and eased
some of the pressure on coach Rudi Garcia following home defeats
to Fiorentina and Real Madrid.
Lazio, meanwhile, are now up to joint sixth while Sassulo are
13th. (ANSA).
