(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 9 - Lazio continued their shaky form in
Serie A when they were held to a 1-1 draw at
relegation-threatened Hellas Verona on Saturday.
Winger Mattia Zaccagni put the visits in front with a delightful
back-heel goal in the 23rd minute.
But Thomas Henry capitalized on poor defending to equalize for
the hosts in the 70th.
Verona managed to hang on for a point despite having midfielder
Ondrej Duda sent off for a second yellow card in the closing
stages.
Lazio, who have qualified for the knockout stages of the
Champions League with a group game to spare, are eighth in Serie
A with 21 points from 15 games ahead of the rest of the
weekend's fixtures.
Verona are third bottom with 11 points and still in the
relegation zone. (ANSA).
