Soccer: Luis Alberto out for a month, Immobile 2-3 weeks

(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 27 - Lazio will be without influential Spanish midfielder Luis Alberto for about a month and sputtering captain and Italy striker Ciro Immobile for two to three weeks after both picked up injuries in Friday's 2-0 win at Empoli, the Biancocelesti said Wednesday.
    The Romans are having an indifferent season and stand ninth in Serie A, 20 points behind leaders Inter.
    Luis Alberto will almost certainly miss an Italian Supercup semi against Inter on January 19 in Riyadh and the possible final there on the 22nd, while the big match against Napoli on January 28 is also at risk.
    He is certain to miss league clashes with Frosinone, Udinese and Lecce, as well as a January 9 Italian Cup quarter final against an opponent yet to be decided. (ANSA).
