(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 8 - Napoli will be in 'ritiro' enforced
training camp seclusion until Saturday's game at bottom club
Salernitana at the Maradona after a 3-0 humbling at Torino
Sunday left the defending champions ninth in Serie A with 28
points from 19 games, 20 points behind leaders Inter.
Napoli said they will be in ritiro at a hotel in Pozzuoli,
according to a decision made by president Aurelio De Laurentiis
after the defeat against Torino, the culmination of a series of
negative results.
The president's decision to send everyone into ritiro - which,
moreover, was reportedly shared by the players themselves - was
already in the air Sunday night.
On Monday it was confirmed.
After the team meeting and training, the players moved to the
hotel. (ANSA).
