(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 11 - Serie A's bottom side Salernitana
announced on Sunday that Fabio Liverani is their new coach after
they sacked Filippo Inzaghi following Friday's 3-1 home defeat
to fellow strugglers Empoli.
Former Lazio and Fiorentina midfielder Liverani is the third
coach of the season for Salernitana, who have just 13 points
from 24 games.
Former Italy and AC Milan forward Inzaghi was called in to
replace Paulo Sousa in October after a poor start to the
campaign.
Liverani, 47, has had stints in charge of clubs including Genoa,
Lecce and Cagliari. (ANSA).
