(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 18 - Juventus fell farther behind in the
title race after just managing a 2-2 draw at home to third from
last Verona to leave them nine points behind leaders Inter Milan
but having played one game more than the Nerazzurri.
Inter have 63 points from 24 games, Juve 54 from 25, and
third-placed AC Milan 52 from 25 and with a chance to overtake
the Bianconeri if they win at 11th-placed Monza Sunday night.
Atalanta, meanwhile, leapfrogged Bologna into fourth, the last
Champions League qualifying place, after winning 3-0 at
Sassuolo, a result that dropped the Emilians level with Verona
on 20 points, two points above second from last Cagliari and
seven higher than last-placed Salernitana, whom Inter smashed
4-0 Friday night.
