(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 26 - Inter defender Francesco Acerbi was
cleared Tuesday of aiming a racial slur against Napoli defender
Juan Jesus with Serie A's sporting judge ruling there was
insufficient evidence to convict him of the offence.
The Brazil defender had said the Italy centre back had called
him a negro, a claim Acerbi denied.
The alleged incident occurred in the teams' 1-1 draw at the San
Siro just over a week ago.
Inter are the runaway leaders of Serie A this term while
champions Napoli have slipped way off the pace. (ANSA).
