(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 14 - Italy will have an extra reason to
produce their best at Euro 2024 as they are defending the title
they won three years ago, coach Luciano Spalletti said on
Tuesday.
"Being the reigning champions is a stimulus," he said
"In 2021 Italy were not among the strongest teams on paper, but
then they became a special team," Spalletti said at the
presentation of Vivo Azzurro TV.
"You may sometimes think that it depends on the individual. But
it depends on collective willingness (to work for each other).
"I can win if I can create a team". (ANSA).
