Euros: Acerbi KO, Gatti set for call-up

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 30 - Inter Milan defender Francesco Acerbi has been ruled out of the Italy squad for Euro 2024 by lingering pubalgia and coach Luciano Spalletti has alerted Juventus defender Federico Gatti that he may be called up.
    The squad meets for the first time Friday at the national training camp at Coverciano near Florence.
    Gatti has impressed despite an up and down campaign for Juve, who finished third in Serie A, 23 points behind Acerbi's Inter and four adrift of AC Milan.
