(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 28 - Team Italy continued its strong start
to the 2024 Paris Olympics on Sunday with Federico Nilo Maldini
winning the silver medal and Paolo Monna taking bronze in the
men's men's 10m air pistol shooting.
The gold medal went to China's Yu Xie.
Filippo Ganna won Italy's first medal at the Games on Saturday,
taking silver in the men's cycling road race time trial.
The 28-year-old came second in the race won by Belgium's Remco
Evenepoel.
Also on Saturday, Luigi Samele won bronze in the individual
men's sabre fencing.
In the swimming Italy men's 4x100m freestyle relay team took
bronze too. (ANSA).
