(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 28 - AC Milan coach Paulo Fonseca hailed
his side's courage after a young line-up beat Pep Guardiola's
Manchester City 3-2 in a friendly at Yankee Stadium in New York.
Lorenzo Colombo, 22, scored a double and fellow striker Marco
Nasti, 20, were on target for Milan.
"The players did what I asked of them: play with courage, keep
the ball, find important spaces," Fonseca said.
"We have a lot to learn and I think today's performance was
positive.
"It was important to win to gain confidence.
"There's a lot to improve defensively and offensively". (ANSA).
