(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 11 - Italy won silver in the men's Madison
cycling and bronze in the modern pentathlon at the Paris
Olympics Saturday night.
Elia Viviani and Simone Consonni came second in the track
cycling event.
The gold went to Portugal, and the bronze to Denmark.
Giorgio Malan took bronze in the modern pentathlon with the gold
going to Egypt's Ahmed Elgendy, who set a new world record, and
the silver to Japan's Taishu Sato. (ANSA).
