(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 31 - Two goals by Marcus Thuram helped
Inter Milan beat Atalanta 4-0 on Friday night, the second
straight Serie A home win for the defending champions.
Following a draw at Genoa and a 2-0 win over Lecce, Inter scored
twice in the opening stages of each half to win and
provisionally reach the top of the standings with seven points.
In other results on Friday night, Torino beat Venezia 0-1, after
a draw at San Siro against Milan and their victory against
Atalanta. (ANSA).
