Tennis: Errani-Vavassori 1st mixed doubles finalists

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 4 - Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori have made history as the first Italian mixed doubles couple to reach the final of a Slam, at the US Open.
    The pair beat US couple Tyra Grant and Aleksandar Kovacevic 6-3 7-5 in the semis and will now face their friends Taylor Townsend and Donald Young, who beat 6-3 6-4 the number 8 seeds, Indonesia's Aldila Sutjadi and India's Rohan Bopanna. (ANSA).
