(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 6 - Italy's Assunta Legnante won the shot
put gold medal in the F12 category for the visually impaired at
the 2024 Paris Paralympics on Friday.
Her winning throw of 14.
It is the 46-year-old's second medal of the Paris Games after
she took silver in the discus and her sixth Paralympic medal
overall.
Those medals include the shot put golds she won at London in
2012 and Rio in 2016, while she won silvers in the discus and
the shot put in Tokyo three years ago. (ANSA).
