(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 21 - Italy's double MotoGP world champion
Francesco Bagnaia will start Sunday's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
at Misano in pole position after the Ducati factory team rider
clocked the fastest time in qualifying on Saturday.
Championship leader Jorge Martin of the Ducati Pramac team is
second on the grid, with Bagnaia's team-mate Enea Bastianini
completing the front row.
Spaniard Martin has 312 points after 13 of the season's 20 race
weekends, seven points more than Bagnaia in second.
The Emilia Romagna sprint race takes place at 3pm on Saturday
and the main event starts at 1pm on Sunday. (ANSA).
