(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 1 - Police on Monday searched the property
of the brother-in-law of AC Milan and Italy great Paolo Maldini
in a probe into criminal activities by ultras at Milan and
Inter, sources said Tuesday.
The brothers Aldo and Mauro Russo, the former a brother-in-law
of former Milan exec Maldini and the latter a business partner
of his and of former Inter and Italy star striker Christian
Vieri, appeared in the list of people searched yesterday during
the blitz against the Inter and Milan ultra leaders.
Mauro Russo, according to what has been learned, is under
investigation, while his brother Aldo is not.
As can be read in the request for precautionary measures by the
Milan Prosecutor's Office, Mauro Russo is said to have bribed,
for parking deals near the stadium, Manfredi Palmeri, a member
of 'M.I Stadio srl' and a regional councilor of Lombardy, now
under investigation. (ANSA).
