(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 29 - The sister of Matilde Lorenzi, a
19-year-old promising skier who died after a training fall in
northern Italy Monday, on Tuesday voiced her "immense grief" at
her loss.
"With immense grief I communicate that our Mati has left us",
said Lucrezia Lorenzi, publishing a photo on Instagram of the
young skier who died after crashing and hitting her head during
training in Val Senales.
Lucrezia invited "whoever wants to say goodbye" to Matilde to a
rosary at the church of San Lorenzo in Giaveno outside Turin on
Wednesday 30 October at 6:00 pm.
Lucrezia Lorenzi is also a skier and has participated in the
World Cup and the European Cup. (ANSA).
