(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 7 - Ferrari's slim hopes of beating
McLaren to the Formula One constructors' title faded further
Saturday after the British team scored a one-two on the grid for
Sunday's season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with the Italian
glamour team's Carlos Sainz third in his last race for them
before being replaced by Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc
relegated to the back of the grid.
Ferrari are 21 points behind McLaren.
Lando Norris will start in pole position, having obtained the
best time ahead of his teammate Oscar Piastri.
Third fastest was Sainz, while Leclerc's time in Q2 was
cancelled and the Monegasque will start from the last row, also
having to serve a 10-place grid penalty. (ANSA).
